Hello,

I hoped to make both 3.2.9 and 3.3.2 releases in 2025 but I'm afraid that
I won't have time to deal with OpenGL/EGL issues under Linux sufficiently
soon and I really wanted to include this in 3.3.2, so it will almost
certainly get delayed until 2026.

We still can make 3.2.9 release, however, as there is a number of
relatively important fixes there. And the only open issue with this
milestone is #25675 which it would indeed be nice to fix, but it's not
exactly critical.

So what do you think of making this release in the first half end of
December (it won't be really worth it to release it later in the year)? To
go with the tradition, we should release it on December 12, but the files
could be prepared and binaries built before it, if it would be more
convenient. What do you think?

Thanks in advance,
VZ

I'm available most days until Dec. 17. After that it will be January.

Hi,

I want to backport most CMake fixes to 3.2, like #25671.
I'll try to do that today, but for sure this month.

Great, I'll make the release archives once Maarten has time to backport
the CMake changes and https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/25997 is
merged (including any reasonable additions to it that may be proposed)
then. I'll try to do it in advance, hopefully on December 7, to leave you
time to build the binaries before 12, when I'll announce it.

Thanks,
VZ
