If you saw that request from a "James Buxton" for "discrete assistance" re Amazon, I suggest not replying (like I did).
The followup I got is highly suspicious and doesn't sound like Jim. I've removed the account for now as a precaution.
When I volunteered I have Amazon Prime I got:
"I’ve been trying to get an $200 Apple E-gift card delivery for my friend whose birthday is today and they keep telling me they are having issues with my credit card and I promise to put a smile on her face by getting her the gift card. Can you purchase it from your end for me ? I will refund it to you once my bank sort the issue out"
That doesn't sound like Jim.
