we have a very good video we made out of the world day for nonviolence. can you provide a template which can allow easier uploading. we are difeated to so through normal attachment. can anyone with technical knowhow enlighten us on how to do it. the video is on cd.

est ce qu'il y a un chat prévu pour la création du réseau d'écoles pour la paix et  la non violence ?
Je pense que ce serait intéressant d'échanger sur nos premières expériences de contact avec les écoles et les associations.

Like we talk on our chat meeting in August, we are now in the process to produce a video that introduce the Network of schools for a world without violence.

The video will introduce the Network by presenting different events that took place in different countries over the last year. 
(we will also present basic document: Nobel Peace Price Charter and the humanist document on non-violence- summary info. from the WWW & V website),
the WWW & V organization in schools and historical facts: World March, Europe for Peace, ect..

La vidéo présentra le réseau, les différents événements qui ont eu lieu dans différents des écoles de différents pays au cours de la dernière année. (nous présenterons également le document de base : Charte des  Nobel de la paix et le document humaniste - info. résumant la non-violence tiré du Site Web d'Un monde sans guerres et sans violence et les faits historiques de l'organisation : Marche mondial, l'Europe pour la paix, ect.

Dear Friends!

 

Just a little note before Friday's chat, about what happened here in Ireland,

 

I sent letters for 30 schools (Primary & secondary) in KIlkenny and no one replyed :-( off course felt terrible, in spite of the e-mails + phone calls.

I so much wanted to extend the schools, to offer this opportunity to other schools then the 3 schools that took part in the World March last year, so off course I felt dissapoitnted.

 

Also from 7 parenst who we agreed to work together

2 parents approached her son's school principal in person, the school is not interested.

2 parents just sent it by mail....got no response back,

3 didn't do it yet...but they may do it.

 

But also realised that in order for schools to do something on the 2nd October I need to preppeare them o inform them and start working already this year and remind them because if they only get my mails and letters early September they will do nothing for 2nd October, as thing movevslower here.

 

The only school that is interested so far in my own town in KIlkenny is my son's school, from my town, which is the only non-chatolic school in Kilkenny. 

 

But the good news is that  the 3 schools that took part in the World March last year are possibly interested in part taking in the network for Schools for Nonviolence.

 

1/ Waterford Educate Together Primary School - are doing the whole months on the theme of Peace and Nonviolence.

 

2/ Kilkenny Educate Together School may be doing something during the year (My son's school)

 

3/ Dublin Beneavin Secondary Boys School from Dublin possibly like to join.

 

 

 

I will have to re-think our strategy. Look forward our chat!
