Dear PTSA Parents,

As you know, our school district is paperless now, and during this
transition from fliers to web based information only, the PTSA plans
to communicate with you regularly, every other week via email. We
will highlight events at South affecting our students and our
community.

WEBSITE: Some of you know that we've established a new PTSA web site:
southptsa.org. We had problems with the previous web site down
several times within two weeks and felt, that given we are in a
paperless district now, it is crucial that our primary route to
communicate with you would be reliable. Please visit it often, we are
working to update it and add more information for you.

MEMBERSHIP: Our membership drive is underway. You can find a form on
the web site that you can send into the office or fill out on line
with the link to league lineup. Don't forget to add both parents and
your student; the "S" stands for student in our association. We have
3 students serving as committee chairs for our PTSA.

REFLECTIONS: With the theme this year: "Diversity means......" has
been introduced to your students at school. Paul von Auntereid a
senior at South is in control of this committee, and is working to
spread the word so that more students will enter their creative
products. When you visit our web site, you will find more details on
Reflections, including the categories your student can choose and the
entrance application.

OCTOBER 19: Our next General Meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the
Media Center (Library) at South. Our program (we don't have one) Were
going to do bullying but covered at BTSN.
