Your patience has paid. The hard work of people who deeply believe in the waela has worked. We will accomplish our mission. Simply because it is the right one. Simply because there are people like you who have the determination to bring change in our society and country.
To come to the facts as of today;
TICKETS
Tickets are now ready, You will get your Eticket in the coming 24 hours. Please follow up your mail calmly and with certitude. When tickets are sent, your coordinator will be informed so that he can indicate to you what should be done.
Most importantly, what we have been pushing for is confirmed today. The ticket you get is extensible up to three months after the end of the waela at no cost!!! So please those of you who intend to do so, come with precise details about the day you want to leave the country. You will be expected to do so on your arrival.
DEPARTURE POINTS
EUROPE: Participants will be living from the home countries. The cities serviced by Ethiopian airlines where the participants will embark are Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Stockhom and Rome. You will check this on your eticket.
US: In the US, the outbound flight will be from Washington DC. You have been informed about the hubs where participants will leave from several regions of the US to catcht the Ethiopian flight in Washington DC. We have collaborators of the PC in the US who will remain in constant contact with the participants on the point.
DEPARTURE DATE
Departure date for the participant will be shown in the eticket. The departure will start on July 27 and will continue on the 28th, 29th, 30 and 31th according to the availability of seats of the flights leaving from your area.
Please be careful not to miss your flight on the said date. In general participants in a given country are supposed to leave on the same date. All those who as an exception will be flying on a specific date have been confirmed.
ENTRY
On your arrival in Bole International, people specially assigned for your welcome will be there. A list of all the participants is in the hands of the authorities at the airport. Please set aside 20US$ or 17 euros to be paid as administrative charges.
People holding refugee travel documents do not have to worry. Vise will be issued on the spot.
Our people will be there to welcome you and take you to the place of venue.
