Hey Family,
I hope you all are enjoying this day. As most of you already know, we have been approved to start internships with the Army Corps of Engineers. Here is a list of some of the internship that they have to offer. Please take a moment to review the list. If there is something you want to do that is not on the list, let's make a phone call to see if they offer it.
These internships are for the WII only.

PS
The site visit will be November 6, 2012, from 1300 to 1430. Please let me know ASAP if you want to attend. This will give me time to get your appointment rescheduled around the visit.

Subject: RE: Appointment (UNCLASSIFIED)
Good Morning Phillip, and Maj Hannan,
The time you all gave me yesterday was priceless. Thank you! I came back to
my unit and gave the command a brief from our meeting. I told them how
perfect the timing was from your General calling to approve the Wounded
Warriors to participate in internships with the Army Corps of engineering.
Wow! Thank you again!
I would like to bring my Marines out there for a tour and a short lecture if
possible about the types of internships you may be able to offer. I already
have three that want to get on board. They are in the areas of architecture;
demolition; and engineering. An additional one is leaving but would still
like to visit maybe shadow you mechanical engineer. The max I anticipate
attending is 15.
If we could set up a date to visit, please give me at least eight days of
notice. That will give me enough time to set their medical appoints set
around the time you would like to meet with us.
Another good thing about working with the Army Corps of Engineers is it is
near Tripler Hospital, so my Marines will not have to go far between
appointments/internship.
Side Note:
I forgot to tell you that I am living a prayer by being able to help these
Marines. It could not have come at a better time. I get to retire with the
sweetest taste ever of being a Marine for 30 years. You all just made it a
little more Sweeter.
