bicycle in safety with a cell

I love to ride all over, but have you guys put any thought into safety
while riding? My most important piece of equipment (besides my bike)
is my cell phone, in the case of an accident you need to call 911 and
you could be anywhere with no land line for miles. I chose a Net 10
phone because they use all the towers so they have coverage almost
everywhere and they don't charge for roaming. If you don't have a cell
I really suggest you buy a simple pre paid cell like Tracfone because
