Richmond Multisports would love for your collegiate triathlon team or club to participate in our upcoming Collegiate Invitational Cup!
Our Spring Invitational Cup race was fantastic! Teams from VCU, JMU, Syracuse, and Navy competed at the Chasing Chicken Tri in Richmond, Virginia on April 21, and Syracuse took home the coveted Cup!! It was such a success that we decided to bring the Collegiate Invitational Cup back to our Naylor’s Beach Olympic Triathlon.

What: Collegiate Invitational Cup – Olympic Distance Tri
When: Sunday, June 2, 2013
Where: Naylor’s Beach Campground – located an hour and 15 minutes West of Richmond, Virginia

Why: To compete against some of the top collegiate athletes in the East Coast Region . . . a great opportunity to race against your peer group!
This event will be held at the Naylor’s Beach Olympic Triathlon and will consist of a 1500 meter swim, 40k bike, and 10k run. We offer collegiate discounts on race entries and can offer even more if you choose to partner with RMS. (Just ask for details.) We are currently partnering with JMU, VCU, and UVA, and would like to continue to build and create new relationships in 2013. We know that expenses are a huge factor for deciding on an event or not, and we want to help cut these expenses for you as much as possible.
Team/Club members who aren’t ready for an Olympic distance race are welcome to participate in either the Sprint Tri or Duathlon, held the same day.

Cross Country style scoring will dictate the winner of the Collegiate Cup

Trophy Cup awarded to the top team

RMS will provide some home stay options, if desired, provided by local triathletes who participate in RMS events
· Registration closes at midnight May 29.
