WHAT:
Murphy Poindexter, a business entrepreneur and potential investor,
will be attending our meeting this coming Wednesday, March 25th, to
talk about a new method of producing biodiesel that has not hit the
states yet.
WHY IT'S COOL:
This new method of producing biodiesel reportedly costs much less to
run the processor than conventional processor units and produces
absolutely NO WASTE--that means no glycerin or other strange
particulates.
ABOUT MURPHY:
Murphy used to be a WVU student and then did a year abroad in Japan.
After this year abroad, he returned to Japan and then became a
business entrepreneur with ties in alternative energy. Currently, he
is the American CEO of his company here in the states and is looking
to bring this new technology to WVU, presumably due to his former
attachment to WVU.
WHAT HE WANTS:
Murphy, at our meeting, wants to talk to ChE's, Mechanical Engineers,
and Diesel engine connoisseurs. He wants everyone to BE THERE. My
guess is that he is looking to bring Biodiesel to WVU and he is
certainly serious about it (since he came to the states specifically
for this). He could prove to be a potential investor to our Project.

So, please attend this weeks meeting to 1) Learn about a new,
innovative method of producing biodiesel and 2) hear what Murphy has
to offer our Project.
See you Wednesday!
