We at Cogent Infotech (www.cogentinfo.com) are currently seeking out individuals who have already, or will soon earn MS degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and related fields. Cogent is a Solution IT Engineering Company, engaged in providing diverse IT solutions to clients ranging from Fortune 500 to Small and Medium size businesses. We specialize in system architecture, business analysis, and designing, developing, testing, and deploying complex IT solutions.
We are looking for bright, talented, self-starters to be the next generation of Software Developers and Programmer Analysts at Cogent Infotech. We want someone who is team oriented, and has the creative ability to provide application development services to commercial clients for their business needs. Our developers/analyst will work on-site/off-site based on customer/project need. We specialize in technologies related with Web (Sun and Microsoft), Cloud computing, ERP, database development, data warehouse and database administration.
Responsibilities: In the first year you may: • Work on multiple projects for clients • Work on custom client project development • Work nationwide on various projects with clients • Help conduct training in an area of your expertise • Develop into a ‘Lead Programmer’ role
Technical Requirements: • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution • Good written and spoken communication skills are required • Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and some language (Java, C, C++) required • Two years of work experience prior to completing your Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent field • Fundamental knowledge on one or many of the following skills (HTML, XML and some database programming)
