The ACM list has been busy today. I wanted to share the announcement
posted there about our upcoming event in Spring.

Since Josh mentioned Agile Development Practices, I think now would be
a good time to reveal our big speaker for Spring.
Andrew has done all the hard work and secured Corey Haines
(http://www.coreyhaines.com/) for Spring 2011.
But wait, that's not all.
Keeping with our fashion of being awesome, ACM/FSG has gotten him to
do a two parter event. Day one: talk on software craftsmanship. Day
two (!!): hands-on code retreat. (What's a code retreat:
http://www.coderetreat.com/how-it-works.html )
How serious is this?
- The department has pledged their support for funding.
- Corey Haines has the event posted on his Google Calendar
(http://bit.ly/bT4Tag)
Cool fact: This is tentatively scheduled exactly 1 year from when we hosted RMS.
