Great meeting last night. If you missed the meeting, it might be helpful to create a launchpad account, as that's what we'll be using to fix bugs with Ubuntu. We're going to dive right in, and next week I'll show you how to fix some really simple bugs. Get on launchpad and look through some bugs you think might be simple. You can search for "typos" or "low hanging fruit" or "string" and that will show you some easier to solve bugs.

https://launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts which has a lot of easy bugs tagged. We'll get started next week, so try to become more familiar with launchpad and searching for bugs. If you feel adventurous, maybe configure your machine to work with launchpad. If you'd like to read some good documentation on everything you need to know concerning getting started with development for Ubuntu, I've prepared an assortment of links that will help you.
