OAMC Buckeye Blast Rocket Launch 2014

We are GO for launch for Buckeye Blast on May 3rd and  4th.  Location is on St. Rt. 41 about 4 1/2 miles south of I-70.  Enter in driveway with the big rocket sign that says "OAMC".  Remember the speed limit is 5 mph.  If you are speeding, we will ask you to leave. We have a standing 10,000 foot waiver. We have small and large rails, all sorts of rods. We are hoping for a large crowd, so please no dogs, no parking in the field and no speeding. Must have your NAR card or TRA card to fly HPR. Flight fees $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers per day. When you register, anyone under the age of 18 can sign up for the drawing for the free one year of NAR.  This drawing will be Sunday and you do not have to be there to win. We will also have raffles. We have a very limited amount of T Shirts that will be available. $15 for up to Large and $20 for XL and above.  We are also having a potluck dinner. Please bring a dish and the club will have the hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill. Here is a list of events that are going to happen.
 
Saturday.........
 9:00am-  finish set up.
9:30-10:00-  Register-
10:00am- Flyer meeting
10:01am  Start flying
10:02am  Contest starts for "Closest to the Pin". Rocket must use a "B" engine. Any type of recovery.
12:00noon- time for lunch- hamburger or hotdog, chips and drink for a $3 donation
2:00pm -  time for contest "Quickest Build".  The charge for the Rocket and Motor will be $5.00
4:00pm-  Closest to Pin contest ends.
6:00pm- Dinner?
8:00pm- range closes
After 8:00pm we will have a night launch. No waiver. All motors must be "G" motor and below. All rockets must have lights.
 
Sunday.......
9:00am - set up time
9:30am to 10:00am - register
10:00am - Flyer meeting
10:01am- start flying
10:02am-  contest starts for "Closest to the Pin Again". Rocket must use a "B" motor and any type of recovery.
12:00noon- Lunch time
4:00pm -  contest ends for "Closest to the Pin Again".
We will close the range when all rockets are gone.................
