Either email addresses are anonymous for this group or you need the view member email addresses permission to view the original message
to wview
I upgraded to ubuntu natty (from 10.10) several days ago and just
noticed that my /var/log/wview.log and my /var/log/messages were no
longer logging. I found a discussion for this and applied sudo apt-
get install inetutils-syslogd. This solved the messages file problem
but I'm wondering how to restart the wview.log as wview is now logging
to messages. Thanks. BG

That probably uninstalled or disabled rsyslog which is required to get the wview.log file support...

Thanks, Mark, that fixed it. I installed rsyslog, which uninstalled
inetutils-syslogd, and my empty wview.log started filling up.
