I've just reactivated my install on the NSLU2.

It's running Debian so I'm just using the regular source release of
wview, not the iPKG version.

I've gotten it all compiled and installed and seemingly happy. wview
version 3.4.1

But... when I start it up... htmlgend seems to be dying and then gets
restarted.
Below is a typical error log that I'm seeing right now... all other
daemons seem to be OK, it's just the htmlgend daemon that is dying and
being automatically restarted.

Any help, greatly appreciated.

Chris

I had this problem when I first installed the latest wview on a
debian slug. Edit /etc/wview/processes.conf with a higher value for
htmlgend, and restart wview.

Here's what I have in processes.conf:
wviewd=0
htmlgend=600
wvalarmd=120
wvcwopd=120
wvhttpd=120
wviewsqld=600

I think it will work with 300 seconds for htmlgend, but to play it safe
I set it to 600.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much Al!

That fixed it!

I have changed the default value in processes.conf so process
monitoring of htmlgend is disabled by default...
