Placing the attached file, favicon.ico, into the document root for your web server will make it the favicon for your weather site. For Fedora, place it at /var/www/html/favicon.ico.

It does so when accessed from via my local net, but not when accessed via the internet. Can anyone explain this?

Just restarted my browser and now everything works fine.
