I may be way outside the scope of this forum, but I'm hoping at least one other person out there has tried this particular setup.
I've got a QNAP TS-431 which is based on an ARMv7 CPU. The go-to solution for common (and some not so common) Linux binary packages on such devices is Entware. Most packages from Entware's repositories work quite well, but wview seems to have a major issue. Namely, the main wviewd binary file is missing, as are the init scripts. As far as I can tell, the package is completely broken.
I know there are good ARM builds of wview, as I've been running the Debian ARM version on a Raspberry Pi for a couple years now. I'm hoping someone else has found a solution and might be able to suggest what I can do to get it working on my QNAP NAS. If all else fails I'll just keep running the Raspberry Pi, but it would be nice to consolidate the process to the NAS.
