It’s Tuesday again at Bob Evans! We are ordering breakfast at 9AM sharp!
It was great to see all 9 folks that attended last week!
If you know of anyone else that would like to be included in the email weekly announcement, forward a copy of their email to me for inclusion.
Also, even though I am partial to Bob Evans in South Charleston, if you think we should try other breakfast places for our Tuesday meetings please let me know with one(s) so I can check to see if the proposed new venue can accommodate out 10 to 12 folks of our “normal” attendees.
On a personal note:
I was able to work and get confirmed on LOTW KH6HI, in Hawaii, on 6 meters!!! This contact was a real treat for me. I first worked Hawaii in 1972 with 35 watts of CW on 6 meters. The contact was with an Airforce Captain and was never confirmed by him. I worked Hawaii and Alaska several more times that year on AM and CW with 35 watts. Even though I tried very hard to confirm the 1972 6 meter contacts, none of them were ever confirmed. Scroll forward 49 years and Hawaii is “IN THE LOG” once again on 6 meters AND CONFIRMED on LOTW!!! I can truly say the wait was worth it. Now my sights are on Alaska to complete working all 50 States on 6 meters.
Good DX!
See you on Tuesday!

VOTE! IT IS AN OBLIGATION AND A RIGHT!
John, congratulations on confirming Hawaii!
You know me, I am partial to Bob Evans but am completely flexible.
See you Tuesday.
