I hadn't heard anything about his health being bad, so this came as quite a shock. Lou was a great guy, super DXer and I believe he was also a Flex Radio rep at one time.
I got the chance to meet him roughly 5 , maybe 6 years ago when I was selling some ham radio equipment. He drove over from North Carolina to my small Tennessee Hamshack to pick it up.
He will be missed by many.
