Charlie N8RR Update

Dave Poe, W8IW called me earlier this evening and asked me to send a short note to the club letting everyone know Charlie is still in the hospital.  I did got to breakfast this morning and when I arrived Dave had Charlie on the phone talking to those of us there at breakfast and I thought he sounded pretty good.

Dave told me on the phone a few minutes ago that John 'CQV and Robbie (I can't remember his call) visited Charlie this evening and said he is in good spirits.  He was supposed to have an MRI today but if I understood Dave right, it sounded like they must have done some Gastro X-rays with the barium concoction and perhaps will be rescheduling the MRI.

Maybe John 'CQV can give us a better update but Dave was just wanting to get the word out to the club that Charlie is still in the hospital.

Charlie is much better than when we saw him two weeks or so ago at breakfast. But he has a way to go. He still is congested and not at full strength for a youngster of his age. He did have a MRI done while Robbie, W4PAH and I were visiting yesterday. I suspect he will be in the hospital a few more days while the Doctors confirm his diagnosis and come up with a treatment plan he can handle at home.
