DXCC Honor Roll Question

I want to reach out to our membership in my role as your Roanoke Division DX Advisory Committee representative. 

As a reminder, I was appointed to this position by the Roanoke Division Director Jim Boehner, N2ZZ around August last year to replace Lou Dietrich, N2TU who sadly lost a short battle to cancer. 

The DXAC meets regularly ( at least once a month) and for perhaps the past 15 months or so, has been reviewing various aspects of the DXCC program and rules.  As you might imagine, our discussions have covered just about every topic, controversial and mundane alike including visiting the "usual suspects" that consider "Deletions"....

At our Zoom meeting last week, we were asked to connect to the DX Clubs in our respective Divisions (FYI, Roanoke includes WV, VA, NC and SC) and get input from the DX Community on the following:

Do you feel that the requirements for DX Honor Roll status of 331 DX entities out of 340 or, what represents a score of 97.35%, should be changed to reflect the changing nature of DXing today?

I would really like to hear from as many of our WVDXA members as possible and unless you feel there is value to discussing within the group, I would like to have as many off-the-record responses via direct email reply as possible.

The DXAC meets again on April 16 and we will be compiling our notes at that time...
