KP5/NP3VI -- Desecheo Island (January 15th)

>From QRZ.com (edited by OPDX):

About Desecheo Island

Desecheo Island is a small, rugged, uninhabited island located in the
Mona Passage off the west coast of Puerto Rico, known for its dramatic
cliffs, dry subtropical forest, and surrounding coral reefs. Once used
for military training, the island has since been the focus of major
environmental restoration efforts, including the successful removal of
invasive species that allowed native plants and wildlife to recover.
Today, Desecheo is a protected nature reserve, home to seabird colonies,
lizards, and rich marine life, and it is internationally recognized by
amateur radio operators as one of the world’s most sought-after DX loca-
tions due to its rare status and strict access limitations.

CW & SSB ALWAYS UP
