3YØK QSL / LoTW Info

I have been asked if the WVDXA made a Group Donation to 3YØK so that those in the club who donated would automatically get QSL's/LoTW upload.  The answer to that question (to the best of my knowledge) is NO!

The WVDXA did not make an advance donation to 3YØK as we normally do.  We did collect $780 from members for a 3YØK donation and Charlie, N8RR, had planned to add enough extra to bring our donation up to $1,000.  But we decided to transfer those donations to the 3C2MD DX'pedition instead.

Below is a link to an email Charlie, N8RR, sent to the reflector July 29, 2025.  As I recall, Charlie asked the 3YØK group for early LoTW / QSL's for the WVDXA Members and they REFUSED that request.  So, we did not give them the advance donation from WVDXA which would have resulted in $1,000 from WVDXA and a MATCHING $1,000 from the NCDXF.

The MØOXO OQRS system (https://www.m0oxo.com/oqrs/) is not open yet.  When it is, it will cost you $15 for a QSL and LoTW upload.

1. OQRS Direct QSL + LoTW: via PayPal $15
Mailed anywhere in the world unlimited number of QSOs, including LoTW.

I recall the decision to pull the donation from 3Y0K and give it to another DXpedition since 3Y0K would not give us the courtesy of a QSL and upload to LoTW.  I fully agreed with that decision.
