It takes something to get old time accomplished Dxers excited to the point where they stutter. I observed it twice today.
Well I heard their voices over the phone.

First was WB8CQV remoting to my station for H40GJ. Honest it was like a video game. John made One transmission and was immediately answered. Zip zip and he was in the DX log. It was amazingly easy. John is an Engineer and understands the physics of comms via the moon plus he has made a couple of single antenna 6m qsos. He was NOT prepared for this result.

Later W8HC had a similar result. This time it took 3 calls then zip zip. Hal was too nervous to talk in the immediate aftermath.

It was gratifying to get these results. I enjoyed it tremendously.

N8DX worked the DX first but it took slightly longer. Jack always seems surprised when we can work these guys

Last week I did not expect the antenna would work.

Congratz to John, Hal and Jack to get in the log!  And thank you for giving the WVDXA the chance to log rare ones.  This club personifies what it is to be HAM radio operators.

Thank you, Charlie, for the opportunity to work H40GJ on 6M, 2 minutes ago. The only chance I had was working him through your station. Thanks again, my friend
