Hi Everyone,
I had one school reach out about getting memberships for 15 players. I contacted the US Chess Federation. The US Chess Federation has a group voucher program that provides a discounted rate of $13/membership. After purchasing the group vouchers and using them for players I know about, I have 11 vouchers left that I will sell at the cost $13. These are only good for players that are under the age of 20.
The voucher will allow you to purchase a one year membership. The voucher is valid for 9 months. If you have a scholastic player whose membership expires between now and September, they will work. Please contact me via this email if you are interested. I will sell them in the order that I receive them.
If you want me to handle the data entry, I need the players name, mailing address, date of birth, grade, USCF ID number if they have one, and email if you want to receive email from the USCF.
Just to clarify, there is a $20 entry fee to play in the league. This may have been paid when you registered. The entry fee covers rental of the facility, trophies, scoresheets, rating fees, etc. The player will need to have a US Chess membership that is current through the end of February to play in the league.
Thanks!
