Next Saturday, May 4th, is the 2024 WV Action Chess Championship. It will be held at the Huntington YMCA. This is open to adults and scholastic players alike. I certainly recommend any scholastic player in the MS/HS should consider this. It is six rounds, G/30;d0.
Also, there is a nice article on TheRealWV.com about scholastic chess. I also updated the WVSCA.com website with the results from last week.
