Mountaineer Chess this Sunday April 2

I wanted to let you know and send a reminder that we will be playing Chess in Morgantown on Sunday, April 2 at the WVU Mountainlair.

In January we had a tremendous turn out, but it was a lot of day of registration, which pushed our start time back. If possible, please register before midnight Friday at chessregister.com to get the advance entry discount and speed the registration start time, I will still take day of registration for the procrastinator, but there will be $30.00 on Sunday. In January we raised $800 for the Empty Bowls charity, through donations and registrations as well as canned goods for the food pantry. This event will be in support of the same charities, Thank you WVU Chess Cub!

Desc: 4 RD SS, G60. d/10. On site registration available until 9:45 am, online registration cuts off at Midnight Entry Fee $30 for Open, $5 for S/C. Open Prize Fund b/20 1st - $125, 2nd $75; U1900 $50; U1600/U1300 $50 each, Trophies in Collegiate/Scholastic and Unrated sections. Donations of can foods ($5 discount on registration) and money will be collected for this Charity event.
