Dear Ann,

I'm sorry for the "radio silence" since our last call.  I was sick and then in California visiting family for a week.  (Never a dull moment!)

As usual, things are moving, but slowly.  I have not yet gotten a list of properties from Andrew, though he has dropped me an email or two since I asked him for it.  I need to follow up again...

There was a meeting with Onion Flats (not Prairie Flats :-) this past Monday.  A bunch of members (not me, sadly) went to meet the owners, Johnny MacDonald and his brothers/partners.  The group took a tour of several of the developments Onion Flats is currently building.  I am attaching the brief report from that group for you to see. Bottom line is that they seem interested in working with us and may prove helpful.

At our member meetings, we have been working on clarifying our site selection criteria and various members have been researching potential sites.  Tonight, in addition to a discussion of our Onion Flats findings, we will discuss moving forward with site search; organizing the search, how we each can contribute, etc...

In other news: Another member and I met with a prospective lawyer and are thus continuing our lawyer search.  We liked this guy, but we have two other candidates to consider.

I think those are the main points of what we are currently up to.  We would certainly love to hear any of your thoughts, opinions, or advice as to next steps.  I am also awaiting your proposal/description of our participation in the Timeline Game.

Hi Abby

Just checking in to see what the status is of WVC's Site search.  Have you been able to see any apartment buildings or other properties from Andrew?  How about the theater?  Anything from Prairie Flats? 

I was delightfully surprised to see how many people were interested in cohousing at my latest talk in Lebanon PA.  More surprised at how many professionals including finance people were interested.  Even some developers.  Maybe something will come of that Presentation.

Let me know how WVC is doing.
