Hello all --

Jack just found this interesting chart showing the construction costs for building green sustainable developments one of which is Pittsburgh which is sorta similar to Philly -- as Jack points out -- costs in Philly may be a bit higher.

I think this is good data to have as it shows Andrew is only about 10% higher than the Pittsburg figures.

DCD, a national cost data firm, just sent this around.  
Assuming Pittsburgh is similar in costs to Phillie (more likely Phillie is slightly higher...)
An average 'green' multifamily in the 12 to 100 unit range is running around 130 $/SF for the hard building construction costs. 
DCD normally does not include the site work in these costs since they are so variable so.....

ISG's costs of site work were roughy 21 $/SF so their hard building construction costs are estimated at 144 $/SF
About 10% difference.
