I am happy to report that the Academic Section of the West Virginia Library Association met today at the University of Charleston (UC). Sixteen librarians attended from UC, Potomac State College, Marshall University, Mountain State University and the West Virginia Library Commission (WVLC). Attendees were treated to four presentations: Enriching University Education Through Social Media by Michelle Wells (UC), New Tools from the WVLC by Heather Campbell (WVLC), Mobile Apps by Anna Hughes (UC), and Leveraging the Crowd by myself. There was lively conversation throughout and I think everyone left with a ton of things to go home and try. I have placed materials from three of the four presentations online at Google docs for folks to access. Thank you to everyone who attended.
