Upgrade?

Hi,

I'm pretty new to Wordpress (although I installed this ages ago I
haven't used it much) - my blog is at http://www.tadpohl.com/abundance
- and I was wondering if I need to upgrade it to the version (2.2)? Is
it worth it... is it a real mission? I'm not the brightest of sparks
when it comes to this stuff :-)

Brad,

Please direct general wordpress inquiries to the WordPress support
forums (http://wordpress.org/support/) or another appropriate
location. WuCoco users is intended for discussion related to the
WuCoco themes for WP.

If you're asking whether WuCoco is compatible with WP2.2, all I can
say is that I haven't gotten any problem reports which probably means
there are no major issues. It will be some weeks before I am able to
do much testing myself, so please report back if you try it out.

Sorry, I realise that, and I do use the Wucoco theme, which is why I
thought it was the appropriate place to post this question...
obviously the theme one uses is not relevant to an upgrade... Thanks

Not a problem at all. Because this list is very young, I'm being
extra active in terms of establishing what's on topic. Also because
I'm doing most of the question answering at this point, I tend to
point folks to bigger forums where they'll get a broader range of
informed opinions unless it's a question I'm especially qualified to
speak on (aka, a WuCoco specific question).

I wouldn't go that far. It's always a good idea to check out the
themes/plugins that you rely on before doing a non-minor upgrade. I
haven't heard good or bad reports on 2.2, though, so please do drop
another message if you try it out. I'll put a compatibility note and
a thank you up on the website when the first report comes in.
