help me to remove these jumble characters

Hi good men,

Now I have a problem with my IE: the titles of the Internet pages are always
followed by some (fixed) jumble characters, which is very annoying to me. I
don't know how to remove it, can you please tell me if you do? thanks very
much in advance!

Scenario: Windows 2000; IE5.0; Even if I remove the original user account,
and create a new one, the problem still robustly exists.
