Hi everyone,
It's early to think about next year, but our 2018 West Texas rando calendar is approved and filled with several events. Post these on your calendar and consider some of these goals next year:
* R12 Award - ride one (or more) RUSA brevets per month. One 200k per month qualifies.
* Super Randonneur Award - complete one series of RUSA brevets in 2018. 200k, 300k,. 400k and 600k
* 3000k Mileage Award - ride 3000k RUSA events in the year. Average 250k per month for a medal.
* 5000k Mileage Award - ride 5000k RUSA events in the year. Average about 400k per month for a very nice medal.
2018 is a qualifier year for PBP "early-bird" registration. Paris-Brest-Paris is an elite ride in 2019 ... 1200k across France! It's challenging but a "must" for serious Randonneurs. If you have any interest in PBP let me know.
