Happy New Year everyone! Old Man Winter is breathing down our collar but let's think positive and plan a bike ride. Our West Texas randonneuring calendar kicks off with the first for a four-part series this month. Mark your calendar and make plans for 200K January 20. Then, each month after, we will host a 300, 400 and 600K. Challenge yourself and complete all four ... you will earn the prestigious Super Randonneur medal and join an elite group of hard core rando's.

Date: Jan 20
Route: Alley Oop 200K
Start: Crane, Texas (parking lot one block west of stadium ... W. 6th St./Hwy 329)
Time: Ride off 07:30

This event starts just before sunrise, so lights are optional. However, we only have 11 hrs of daylight and Alley Oop can take over 10 depending on wind. Play it safe ... bring lights and reflective gear.

There is no cost ... bundle up, bring a friend and of course, bring a smile!
