Please Vote! the RUSA Election is open

Fellow Texans, and anyone else that might be receiving this email. I can’t stress enough how important it is for all of us (RUSA members) to vote in the current RUSA Election for one of the three candidates running for the two open RUSA Board seats. 

The RUSA Board is responsible for making all of the policies and decisions that effect us as randonneurs. 

When we have problems, concerns, or need help with issues, we call on the RUSA Board members. Having board members that will return emails or calls and actually listen, is huge. You personally may never need to call on a RUSA Board member, but believe me, I do it all the time on your/our behalf. 

Even if we don’t need an open ear at RUSA HQ, in the foreseeable future,  it’s important that we show RUSA that Texas cares enough to vote, and together by caring, we can make a difference, and have more say in the future direction of RUSA. 

As in the past, if you have any questions about the candidates, please feel free to call, or email me. I think I know the candidates well enough to answer any questions, and help steer you to a good decision, based on what your desires for the future of randonneuring are. Also feel free to talk to your local RBA. 

I will have paper ballots with me, if anyone cares to vote using them instead of using the RUSA on line tools.
