Hi
all and Happy (almost) New Year!
Time
to make plans for January and why not kick off 2020 with your January R12 or
P12 rides all checked off Jan 1st! LSR is hosting a 100k Pop and 200k
Brevet, followed by pot-luck at the one & only Danimal Driscoll's
shack. We'll also probably do a NYE dinner near Dan's house, so let me
know if you're a maybe for NYE Dinner :)
New for 2020
Membership: Please join RUSA and LSR before December 31. Due to new insurance requirements, membership in both is now required for all rides, including Populaires. Any membership paid now will cover all of 2020.
- RUSA can be done
online: RUSA MEMBERSHIP
- LSR memberships mailed to Dan:
LSR MEMBERSHIP FORM
- $5 additional fee - New for 2020 - All riders are also required to pay a $5 insurance fee. This will go directly to RUSA, so please bring EXACT CHANGE AND CASH ONLY. Sorry, LSR isn't able to maintain a change bank. At this time, this is the new policy for all rides, so get stocked up on your $5 bills :-) Sorry, no $5 at registration means you will not be allowed to ride, so please don't ask about "paying after the ride."
RSVP: please RSVP to let me know who's coming so I'll have enough cards and please let me know what goodie you're bringing to share, so I can answer the question "what should I bring" when others ask! Even if you're a maybe, I'd rather plan for you and please don't "assume" I know you're coming.
Party: We'll be partying
at Dan's Shack after and it's all pot-luck. We've had some awesome
food, drinks and goodies, so please bring a little somethin'-somethin' and
I'll keep it cold, heat it up or set it out while you're out riding.
Cue Sheets and GPS: Official cue sheets will be shared in advance for you to print, but in case you want to do some pre-ride foreplay, here are the RWGPS files.
