the Graphic ‘O’ Mania, An event purely based on Computer graphics and
Designing. It’s a platform in which the contestant may test his heights of
creativity, technical skills and artwork. If you want to be a part, then get

* PROBLEM STATEMENT*
Working on the given themes, utilizing source images, preparing screenshots
of various stages of art work, Time management... That’s what the
Graphic-O-Mania is all about...
* DESCRIPTION:*
*Level 1: Online Round (pre-Aaruush)
Date 09.08.10 to 23.08.10*
The Theme will be given to the participant online on 09.07.10 in
www.aaruush.net .
Within two weeks of time the contestant must submit the work via email to

*Level 2 : On Spot Round (During Aaruush)
Date : will be updated soon
Time Duration : 1hr 30 mins*
*A set of source images along with the theme will be provided on which the
contestant will have to work and have to present a final poster within the
allocated time duration.
* At the same time (during the Level 2) the contestant must prepare minimum
3 screen shots of ongoing work, which will be needed for the Level 3.
*Level 3 : Power Point Presentation Round (During Aaruush)
Date : Will be updated soon
Time Duration: 5 mins (Max) per team*
The selected teams have to present a ppt describing the work using the
screenshots they took on the level 2.
*RULES AND REGULATIONS*
1. Last date of work submission for the level 1 will be 23.08.10 by 23:59:00
hrs (GMT+5:30).
2. Contestants must bring their own laptops with prescribed software
installed in it. Plug points and desks will be provided.
3. Prescribed software are:
Adobe Photoshop /Coral Draw/Adobe Illustrator (Any version)
* Microsoft Office (mandatory for the Level 3)
4. Computer Systems won’t be provided at any cost.
5. The image which will be submitted for Level 1(Via Email ) and level 2 (On
Spot) must have following specifications.
• File Size : Not more than 10 MB.
• Page Size : A4 size (landscape or portrait )
• Image format: JPEG /JPG/BMP formats are only accepted.
6. While submitting the images for the Leve1 (Via Email) the contestant must
submit the images along with the following details.
*Name, Sex and Location.
*Aaruush Registration Number (As per in the site)
*College Name with Registration/Roll Number
*Contact number (Land line and Cell Phone both)
7. The selected contestants of the level 1 will be intimated via Email on
27-08-10 by 10 P.M.
8. Event Coordinator’s decision will be the final decision.
*JUDGING CRITERIA*
• Overall design.
• Based on provided theme.
• Utilization of source images.
• Tools , plug-ins and short cuts used.
• Power Point Presentation.
• Answering the cross question during Level 3 (PPT Round).

A: It is an Individual Event.
Q: What type of images can be used For First Round?
A: Any Type of Images can be used. Except vulgar/indecent image.
Q: For Second Round can images other than source image be used?
A: No.
