Hello all,

Stumbled upon WTracks as I'm looking for a solution to Strava cutting off about 1.5 - 2km of my run today.
It was the furthest I've ever gone and it was snowing so I would really like to fix my route.

At the moment I am struggling to join up my three routes - the main bulk of my run, the bit that I have 'fixed' and the end of the run. Does an expert have any pointers?

The documentation has been good so far but I am still struggling with this part.

Thanks in advance!

Hi
Not sure what you're trying to do, but if you want to cut the end or your track, for example because you forgot to stop recording, then WTracks has a very easy to use feature: open "Tools" tab and select "trim end" in the bottom menu, then move the slider to select the number of points you want to delete. You will see the points disappearing on the maps as you move the slider, to help you know where to stop.

Hi Olivier,

Thank you for your response.

I'm attempting to edit the end of my route - I remember the exact route I travelled once my phone ran out of battery, so I would like to put this on the end of my existing data.
Is this possible?

Regards
Adam

Ok, then
1. Load you recorded gpx track
2. Click on the pen icon on the left, then any of the 2 below icons: the 1st is for manual edits, where you add points individually but clicking on the map; the 2nd is if you followed roads or mapped tracks, where wtracks will compute the track for a clicked destination.
