Hello, I'm still having problems with Wtrack again. I checked the compression and everything is ok. He started doing it from one day to the next, I don't understand.
Below, I show you what happens!

This is a new track I made. All perfect !

I record it.
Then I open it and notice how he shows it to me.

I am using wtracks configuration.

What I also noticed, that the track in the second image, in many markers, when I move it, I realize that it has several overlapping markers, that is, I move it and about 7 more markers appear below.
Greetings and I hope you solve this problem for me, since it is very uncomfortable to work like this.
Thank you very much and greetings.

Hi
I'm sorry to hear you still encounter this problem.
I did not see your answer to my question about how you record the track. Which method do you use?
  • Manual, by clicking on the map to create each point?
  • Using routing service?
  • Using your device GPS?

This will help me understand the problem.
Thanks

Hello, I have a fight with Wtracks that you can't imagine!
  • Manual, by clicking on the map to create each point?        S I
  • Using routing service?         NO
  • Using your device GPS?     NO
Always use MANUAL, by clicking on the map to create each point.
The strange thing is that I always used it like this and never had problems.
A few minutes ago, I modified the Camino Lebaniego, I recorded it with wtracks. When I load it again in Wtracks, the zigzags already mentioned appear again.
I don't understand that when recording these zigzags appear along the way, since I marked the track point by point and well along the paths where I want to go.
Obviously the problem is when I record the track!  I always work the same way and until recently, I had never had any problems.
I work on the same computer as always, I haven't modified anything at all and I still have the problem.
What I haven't tried yet is working from another computer, for example, my son's, and I'll see what happens. Greetings.

Can you share the Camino Lebaniego GPX before and after the modification? (attach files to your message here)
It will help me reproduce the issue.
Which browser and version are you using?
Thanks

Hello, first of all, I use Google Chrome Versión 133.0.6943.99 (Build oficial) (64 bits)
These are the steps I follow to create a track:
- Open Wtracks
-New Track
Good image.jpg
-then I record the track (Goodtrack.gpx)
- Close Wtracks
-Open it and Load Goodtrack.gpx
-it loads the following
Bad track.jpg
- Then I save Badtrack.gpx

and in any application where Goodtrack loads, it will appear wrong.
and Goodtrack.gpx already appears wrong to me.
Even in other applications, this file that should be fine appears wrong.
I didn't engrave anything on top of it to make it look bad.
Conclusion: both Goodtrack.gpx and Badtrack.gpx appear wrong when I load them! I don't know when Goodtrack was modified.
It remains to be used Mozilla, for example, and see what happens, but I always used Google Chrome and it never gave me problems.
greetings
It will be interesting to see what happens when you open Goodtrack.gpx, which is the good unmodified gpx, because it looks bad to me.

Bad track.gpx
good track.gpx

First of all, I confirm that "good track" is wrong, so the problem happens during or even before saving.
Second, thanks to the GPX you shared, I think I found the cause: you probably changed the "Round coords" setting. Please restore to 5 or greater (see screenshot).
Hope it solves the issue!

Hello Olivier, I'm trying what you told me, I set it to 8 and everything seems to be going perfectly.
I will continue working with this configuration and I think everything will go very well, as it has until now.
Thank you very much and I just have to say that you are a Wtracks genius!!
Regards
