Hi Folks,

Total newby question here but how do you edit the GPS data for a run where the data is way off the route?

Challenge here is that I was running on a running track and not a route where I can easily change the points to fit the route. Screenshot attached for reference. Ultimately I would like my activity to be matched to the track.

Hope that makes sense!

Thanks,

Djuro

You can enter edit mode by clicking the pen icon on the left, and then the first icon below (broken line). Alternatively the keyboard shortcut is 'e'.
This will only allow you to edit point by point, no way to rotate the track unfortunately. There is a "move track" option (5th icon below pen, shortcut 'm'), but it will not rotate.
Cheers

Thanks Olivier - I did subsequently figure out that I can move the track and also edit the points but that will be harder given that this is about 12 laps of the track :-)

Is there a way to split this into segments and then edit the segment before stitching them all back together again? I might have to admit defeat on this one but I have some other runs where my GPS tracking is a little on the wonky side and

Regards,

Djuro

Yes, in edit mode you can click on a track point and click on scissor icon in the popup to cut the track.
