Hello
I have two suggestions, which I think could improve the track editing experience:
- in "Manual Track" the possibility of deleting several points with a click and drag, as other software does.
- put a shortcut key to the editing options.
Thank you very much for your great work.

Hi

I agree the deletion of several points is not very easy with WTracks. However there is this workaround: in edit mode, select the first point and click the scissors  (split track), to cut the track at that point. Do the same for the last point. You can then select the newly created segment between the 2 points and delete it. Then you can optionally "Join" (in Tools menu) the 2 segments at the extremities to restore a single track.
Did you try this technique? Does it help?

There are actually a few keyboard shortcuts, you can see the key between parenthesis when by hovering over the icon with the mouse :
  • 'e' for manual edit
  • 'a' for auto-track drawing
  • 'm'  to drag move/drag track
  • 'w' to add/edit waypoints
  • 'F2' to rename track
  • 'f' to search by address
  • 'z' to undo
  • 'l' to re-center to your current location
  • 'escape' to close menu or any popup
Following your suggestion I also add the 't' shortcut to open the Tools menu.
In addition there is also a handy mouse shortcut: you can delete a track point by SHIFT+clicking on it.

Thanks

Hi, I understand how to do it with the scissors, but we are generating four movements to delete just a few markers. If I have to delete markers at several points along the route, you can imagine how much time I would lose doing this. Basecamp has an eraser tool, position the cursor over a marker and it recovers the route and they are marked and then automatically disappear. That is fast.
