problems recording a track

Hello, I wanted to tell you about a problem I have with Wtracks, it turns out that I create a track and record it, but when I open it again, the route of the route markers changed, they all appear in zig zag, in zig zag segments. It had never happened to me before. Can you help me?  thank you

Hi Luis

It looks like your track has been "compressed": some intermediate points have been skipped. Did you manually apply the compress tool?

If not maybe it was applied automatically, which happens in 2 situations:

1. when you create your track using the routing button, or
2. when your record it live with GPS

Are you in one of these 2 scenarios? In both cases, the default compression distance is 4 meters, bu you can configure it in the tools menu.
