Hi,

as a former user of gpsies and have found your excellente site, which comes very close to gpsies.

Unfortunately Basecamp refuses to open gpx-files which have been created with WTracks. I get the warning "Import Problems - Unknown error opening import file".
Attached you will find a track created with WTracks.

As son as I upload the track to another online router web client and reimport it to Basecamp, the file is accepted. Please could you have a look on this?

Cincerely

Hi
I have no clue why BaseCamp rejects this file, the file content looks valid.
Could you please do 2 things to help:
1. send me the corresponding file you successfully uploaded to basecamp
2. try uploading the attached file to basecamp (it replaced http references to https). Does it work?
Thanks

Hi
It should be solved now. Basecamp is more strict that common GPX parsers, I fixed WTracks to better comply for the official GPX syntax.
