Need your help more than ever! The more volunteers we have the more single-track we'll get on the ground!Building on mountain biking zone has been on hold since last year, so this is exciting to be able to start the build process up again. We'll be working on both clearing Caddy Whomper maintenance access corridor as well as benchcutting adjacent single-track.
Check-in at Clayhill Horse parking area at 9am towards top of the park (stop at Welcome Center if you need a map of the park or directions). Please carpool if you can (contact volu...@westsidetrailfederation.org if you need a ride). If you aren't sure where the project site within the park is located, then ya probably aren't going to be able to find us off in the woods without a guide (it's deep into mountain biking zone which is currently not open to public and not signed/not on maps, etc... email volu...@westsidetrailfederation.orgThis e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it if you plan to come late so we can arrange to have a guide meet you at Clayhill).
Don't forget your work gloves, snackage/water, and some warm socks to change into at the end of the day! Tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite excavation tool.
See messageboard thread "Goals for Stub trail building " for details about trail construction objectives (and other builder news).
