Cooperative Parish

Hi Team,

I am ready to try to schedule a Cooperative Parish Workshop!  I have met with my new congregation, and during my first meeting, several people asked me about the Cooperative Parish 'stuff.'

What do you think would work best for your congregations?  Weekday, Week nights, Saturday (morning or afternoon?)   After Church some Sunday (allowing travel time?)

Julie is scheduled for surgery on July 23rd so from the 22nd through the weekend after are out.  August 20 through 23rd are out for me, my nephew is getting married in Chicago.

Let's plan on 90 minutes.  I have a workshop plan ready to go.

Hi All, 

I am happy to have this meeting and continue in our cooperative parish. 

If we were going to do an in person meeting Sunday afternoons would work well. I am happy to host at either Agawam or West Springfield. 

If we do a meeting on Zoom weekday nights have availability as well. 

Rick,  would you be willing to share your workshop details before the meeting? 

I will be keeping Julie in prayer for her surgery. 

Please let me know what you are thinning.

Hi Everyone,

I think the best time to have this meeting would be on a Saturday, at 10:30, in person, so that people can have the rest of the afternoon to continue with their days. Our Charge Conferences have been on Saturdays. 

I do not think Zoom would be a good option - there are members on leadership that do not use a computer and also, do not drive at night.

I would also be happy to bring some refreshments. 

Rick, I think you should set a date.

Hi Terra & Brigita,

Yes, it needs to be in person.  So we have a vote for Saturday morning and a vote for Sunday afternoon.  

The format will include some 'ice breaker' activity, a video, and then some discussion groups.

If Saturday is ok for you Terra, I think I'd prefer that.  Let me know and I'll put forward a few possible dates.
