Prayer Request

Heartily asking my church family to include my brother, Bebot, who lives in the Philippines, in your prayers. He had a mild stroke that affected his eyesight. He is kind of depressed and emotional, as he is scared that he won't be able to see anymore. The doctor advised him not to undergo an eye operation, as it is very risky. He is taking eye prescriptions, hoping and praying that his vision will return.

Prayers of concern and healing:

 

Safe travels for Gail Barnes and Richard and Betty Durant who are visiting Boston to view the Tall Ships for the 250th celebration.  Also for Dave Barnes who is traveling.

 

Also, safe travels for Richard Gutowski and family as they return Friday after being in France for one year.

 

Bill and Pat Atkins Granddaughter, Mackenzie, will be traveling with friends to Hawaii, and when she returns, she will going on an Alaskan Cruise with her family.

Safe travels for them as well.

 

Prayers for the people who have lost homes in floods, and also wildfires.

 

Joanna Elemento's family in the Philippines were caught in a storm at sea while fishing.  Her Dad's boat sank, but the crew was rescued.  Her brother's boat weathered the storm, and all the crew were safe.  Praying they will be able to locate her Dad's boat so he can retrieve his nets and possibly the engine as well.

 

Prayers for Pastor Terra and her husband Ted.  They will be host parents to a 15 year old boy, Axel, from Spain for the coming school year.  Praying Axel will feel welcome, and enjoy his stay in the United States.
