The Indian Students Association board would like to apologize for the confusion regarding the applications and elections for next year's board. Yesterday's email was sent out a bit prematurely, as we are still working on the application (which has not yet been uploaded to
www.isa.wayne.edu/forms.html).
The new application will be available on Friday, March 9, 2007. The deadline for applications is Friday, March 23, 2007, at 5pm.
All applications must be submitted via a current Wayne State email address. The election process is as follows:
1. Applications are available on 3/9/2007. They must be submitted by 3/23/2007 at 5pm to
wsu...@gmail.com.
2. Interviews will be conducted to narrow down the applicants for each position.
3. Once the applicants have been narrowed down, the "final" applicants will be notified of their status. They should be prepared to present a speech (1-2 minutes).
4. A copy of each applicant's speech and his or her short answers (on application) will be sent out via the mailing list.
5. Elections will then take place via email to
isaele...@gmail.com. Only active ISA members will be allowed to vote, and all votes must be submitted via a current Wayne State email address.
Please let us know if you have any questions regarding this process. Again, we would like to apologize for the miscommunication regarding the elections.
With our most sincere apologies,
ISA Board 2006-2007
