Been trying to figure out the arduino code for changing color. I'm using the sharp infrared sensor and making it change color at certain distance. Not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong and how to apply the sensor output /or input , cooperating with led. If that makes sense . So if anyone with this sensor or led please help me out .

is your problem getting the sensor to work at all or to write code that uses information the sensor is giving it?

That be great, but I'm only available Friday, and Saturday I have a final at one I believe for algebra . That's the same as presentation day? I think you mentioned another date for presentation on dec 15.

sorry. to answer your question, just leave for your final at 12:30. Kenny, since your final is also at 1, that would be the same for you i.e. come and leave at 12:30.

That's exactly what my last project on the blog did. Take a look at that code. I was using an ultrasonic sensor so the numbers might be a little different but might get you started.

not sure what you need --- we could use a little more description of what sort of torque you are looking for and what you are hoping to do.

A few students have converted servos to gearhead motors. You could try that. It's not as hard as this article makes it appear:

Just enough to pull a party popper. Didn't realize it took quite a bit to pull it until I got the things together. Maybe a larger motor or some kind of pulling or snapping mechanism

Pulling something like that can be tricky and sometimes takes some mechanical contraptions.

I feel like this might work:

but I can't guarantee anything and it's probably too late to get here on time.

Hmm
I could pull that off my car or get one from a junkyard. Thanks for the suggestion . I'll try to figure something out.
