Hey yall, it's Andy here. I wanted first to let you know that I'm
moving back to Tri-Cities tomorrow. I'm planning on living there for
a year. I'll be staying with my buddy Matt again, so it should be
pretty fun. My goal for the year (drum roll, please) is to be
financially independent by the end of the year. By the way, is there
some way to see who is a member of this group?

Actually, this was a conscious choice so that people who already lurk
at the fringes of our social networks can casually keep more appraised
of what the more active social nuts are up to. I originally had it to
where only managers could post too so that there would be less spam on
this group. Obviously there are ways to mitigate the spam via your
membership options (you can select from different notification options
when you sign up). I want to respect people's privacy and reduce the
tendency to faction off again so I was trying to make this a more
passive kind of affair where only a few people post when things are
going on.

In my imagination it wasn't supposed to replace our normal emails as a
means of communication so posts here should be limited to things that
will benefit the group at large (which is why I'm replying here rather
than just in an email back to you).

I think this makes sense so that everyone can keep up. If everyone
who signed up is okay with me turning on member search, I'll do that.
In a week or so, if nobody has objected, I'll assume that means
everyone is okay with it.
