Hi, Dr. Watkins! Thank you for your interest in finding possibly a person to do an iphone/ipod app for the Derby Health Collaborative (DHC) of which the South Campus is a member.
What they are looking for in developing the app is so that users could log on to their database at the end of their exercise to record the date/time and duration of the users’ exercise (walking, etc.). People are now entering these data on a computer into an American Heart Association database. However, the Derby Health Collaborative will be developing a database on their own server for this purpose and using ipad/ipod instead of relying on the Am Heart Association one. If you could find a person to develop an app on a pro bono basis in collaboration with DHC, it will go a long way in showing the local community how much WSU cares and its commitment to extend its facilities to them.
Please let me know if you could find some volunteer to do this. Thank you so much in advance.
